Hidden History of the South Street Seaport's Architecture

Several buildings in the Seaport District are considered to be some the oldest standing structures in Manhattan. From rat pits to a warehouse built by one of the most famous American architects of the 19th century, the buildings of the Seaport have a big story to tell. This is the story of the rise of New York. Take a walk with us and discover the origins of New York's greatness. Please wear comfortable shoes and weather appropriate clothing.

Tour meets at 12 Fulton Street.
