ABOUT THE EVENING

The performance includes two plays that are separated by a communal meal. Where a traditional evening-length work might be separated by an intermission, we will instead enjoy a meal together. We ask that you stay in the theater for all three events: the first play, the meal, and the second play.
We are selling tickets for the full evening.
We are not offering tickets for either play individually.
Please be sure to purchase a ticket that includes a meal, if you'd like to partake. We also welcome you to bring your own ready-to-eat meal (PLEASE NOTE: refrigeration and/or microwave/heating appliances are not available).
You will spend about 3.5 hours at Rattlestick and we are so glad to have you.

ABOUT THE COMMUNAL MEAL

The meals being served are intentionally modeled after the foods that the characters you are meeting on stage would be apt to eat. We hope that your connection to and understanding of their plight and perspective is deepened as a result, and that you come away with new connections to those you are sharing this experience with. We thank our partner Ready To Eat for the following meal options:

1. BBQ Half Chicken with Potato Salad, Cole Slaw and dinner roll with butter - $17
2. Roasted BBQ Tofu with potato salad and mayo-free slaw with roll (no butter) for a Vegan/Vegetarian option - $17
3. SUNDAY/FRIDAY MATINEE ONLY: Idaho Sweet 'n Savory Snack Pack (incl. hummus, chips, jerky and candy) - $10

YOU NEED TO PURCHASE YOUR MEAL/SNACK BY 11PM THE DAY BEFORE YOU'RE SEEING THE SHOW OR YOUR ORDER WILL NOT BE FULFILLED

YOU CANNOT HAVE A CATERED DINNER IF YOU ARE SEEING A MATINEE

ABOUT THE PLAYS*

LEWISTON is a play fundamentally about the past. An aging descendant of Meriwether Lewis has been selling off her family’s land piece by piece for years, becoming increasingly convinced that her family’s past is less of a legacy and more of a curse. But when an unexpected visitor blasts into her life, she’s forced to consider if there’s anything good left in the world at all.

The cast of LEWISTON includes Arnie Burton (Peter and the Starcatcher), Kristin Griffith (Animal), and Leah Karpel ([porto])

CLARKSTON is a play fundamentally about the future. A young descendant of William Clark has made the journey out west from his home in Connecticut, desperate to find meaning in his own history. But when he finds a landscape dotted with small, struggling towns and big box stores, faith in his future—and indeed the future of the entire country—starts to feel misplaced.

The cast of CLARKSTON includes Heidi Armbruster (Time Stands Still), Edmund Donovan (The Snow Geese), and Noah Robbins (Grease: Live, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”)

*The performances of LEWISTON and CLARKSTON will be separated by a communal meal eaten with the audience each evening (and during the afternoon for matinees).
