SYNOPSIS

A conversation that director Crystal Moselle (Wolfpack, 2015) overheard on the Brooklyn-Queens G train became an empowering yet breezy doc-narrative hybrid about a group of compassionate young women skateboarders who turn heads as they shred across Manhattan. Described as “Kids meets Girls,” freedom, friendship, family, and social media all figure into a feature starring a real female New York skate crew, augmented by a solid supporting role from Jaden Smith.
