SYNOPSIS

Tag-lined, “A history of queer cinema from the women who made it happen,” Dykes, Camera, Action! is also rumination on the director’s personal journey to the film’s creation. Caroline Berler interviews groundbreaking LGBTQ filmmakers and academics to examine and contextualize the history of women’s film, while engaging cinephiles of all stripes through the universal power of their craft.
