SYNOPSIS

A prismatic view of an all-too-familiar story, Monsters And Men addresses the aftermath of a wrongful killing of a Brooklyn street hustler by a white police officer through three distinct yet intractably intertwined threads. We follow a young father who filmed the shooting, an African American cop, and a high school star athlete, each navigating a supercharged social atmosphere at great personal risk. Featuring John David Washington (BlacKkKlansman), with Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones (together aka, “Janthony,” from the cast of Broadway’s Hamilton.)
