SYNOPSIS

Driven by the drug trade, competing indigenous Wayúu clans clash as old world traditions collide with new world materialism in a surprising take on the Colombian cartel motif. The Oscar-nominated team behind the audacious Embrace of The Serpent delivers a mystical Shakespearean epic featuring an expert blend of professional and non-professional actors, enhancing a striking mix of Western and native design elements.

Please be advised that the majority of the films programmed by the AVFS are independently produced and are, as yet, unrated. Viewers with sensitivity to sexual, violent, or crude themes are advised to investigate the content before attending.
