SYNOPSIS

Stock car racing on New York’s Long Island may not seem an endangered culture worth protection, but Michael Dweck’s insightful lens on the only remaining track in the area will leave you thinking otherwise. Intense footage of racecourse battles and images of equally fervent passion for community drives this film, as we consider a powerful tradition perhaps soon lost to commercial overdevelopment.
