SYNOPSIS

Over 15,000 transgender people serve in the U.S. military, making the Department of Defense the largest transgender employer in America, codified by the Pentagon in 2016 after a long prohibition. A year later, the Trump-Pence administration announced plans to reinstitute the ban against transgender service. The film follows four brave individuals defending our country’s freedom while fighting for their own as they confront top brass officials, thus potentially sacrificing their careers and families’ livelihoods.
