The Other Side is a new musical by Eden Arielle Gordon (BC
'19) about Beat Generation writers Joyce Johnson and Elise Cowen, inspired by
Johnson's memoir Minor Characters. It tells the story of Joyce and Elise's
experiences at Barnard in the 1950s and their tumultuous relationships with
Jack Kerouac and Allen Ginsberg.
