In the time of the gods, Orpheus, whose song is stronger than any weapon, is warned not to fall in love for it will be his doom. As much as he wants to heed the prophecy he falls anyway for a woman who makes his heart sing in a new way. When she dies unexpectedly, Orpheus is so heartbroken that he’s compelled to embark on a daring plan to travel into the underworld to try to persuade Hades to release her back to him. Can his love reverse the finality of death? This ancient tale is brought to new musical life by John Rea (More Than Anything, Dodger) featuring seductive Sirens, the heroes of the Argo, a sorceress, an earthquake and an epic quest through the horrors of hell.

This performance includes an Opening Night celebration after the show.
