This is the perfect course for adults who have always wanted to explore mark making. Students study a wide range of materials from charcoal to a variety of drawing pencils. They also explore the impact of playing with the scale of their work, incorporating their whole body into the drawing process. Students experiment with various drawing styles from abstraction to realism. Sources of inspiration include live models, still life, imagination, graphic novels, and contemporary artists. Materials list will be posted online prior to the start of class.
