This class is part of our Write From the Heart program. Motivated by topics that are close to their hearts, participants will experience the exciting growth of narrative from concept to execution as they put their ideas on paper and then see them brought to life in images or on stage.

This favorite class focuses on the creation of 10-minute plays. Through both one-on-one mentoring and a series of masterclasses with professional playwrights, students will explore real-life scenarios, humor, drama, and more, as they each work to craft an original 10-minute play. This program culminates with our Spring Shorts Festival where each script will be performed on stage and evaluated by a panel of judges. Selected plays will go on to be workshopped and performed at Arts for All. This program will require some writing during out of class time.
