Felting, one of the oldest fiber crafts, creates felt which is a dense, sturdy material made by matting, condensing and pressing fibers together. In this workshop, participants learn the basics of wet felting using warm soapy water and agitation to mat wool fibers into shapes. Young people and their caregivers then collaborate to create a bouquet of felted flowers to brighten up indoor spaces while spring is right around the corner!
