Winter Rhythms marks the 10th year of Urban Stages bringing the talents of well-known and up-and-coming artists to the attention of the New York theater community! Cabaret, musical theater, jazz and more take the stage in 20 unique shows with over 100 artists from December 12 to December 22, 2018. All proceeds benefit Urban Stages’ Outreach Program which brings art, theater and education to schools and libraries across New York City.

A NIGHT OF JAZZ AND BLUES

This international evening of artists continues with Abou Diarrassouba (Abou Lion Diarra) from West Africa. Abou brought his talents and drums on our stage last spring to add the sounds of Africa in the play Dogs of Rwanda by Sean Lewis. He is internationally known for his musical artistry. He returns with his band that frequently plays at the noted Jazz club in Harlem, Paris Blues.
