Our production based musical theatre camps give your young actor the whole acting experience in four weeks! We start with auditions for the show on the first day of camp and spend our weeks together rehearsing for the culminating production during the last week of camp.

Actors will work through the entire acting process via rehearsals for the production of Shrek JR, including: line memorization, scene blocking, character creation, vocal strengthening, and choreography. We encourage the building of community and working together when we meet each morning and afternoon for an all-camp (Youth, Middlers, and Teens) warm up and lunch.

Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek. One day, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad, he's handed a task – if he rescues feisty princess Fiona, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad, but a fairytale wouldn't be complete without a few twists and turns along the way.

We also have before and after care from 8:30-9:30 AM and 3:30-6 PM. The fee is $10 per hour. Please email Emma Ditnes at EDitnes@MacGuffinTF.com to schedule your child.
