Join artist Kerry Downey for the New York debut of their video work How to see in the dark (2017, 12:40 minutes). The screening will be followed by a conversation between Downey and artist Jeremy Toussaint-Baptiste, moderated by curator Christian Camacho-Light, examining themes of darkness, fear, representation, and opacity.
This event is organized in conjunction with the exhibition How
to see in the dark, on view at Cuchifritos Gallery + Project Space through December 9 and presented in collaboration with Abrons Arts Center.
