Learn to use the pottery wheel in this beginning class that covers bowls, plates, and cups. Students learn basic handbuilding techniques to broaden the scope of possible projects. Specific pieces are demonstrated each week to continue challenging even experienced students while allowing for self-exploration and the development of one’s own aesthetic. Class may be repeated to continue building skill. Price includes 25 pounds of clay to get started, plus all glazing and firing. Additional studio time available for purchase. (Limit 7)
