This class is part of our Workshops and Intensives program. Workshops and intensives are short-term, specialized classes led by local and visiting artists that help participants sharpen their skills, simply have some fun, or try something new!

Bring in a favorite musical theatre song for the chance to focus intensively on acting while singing! Work with Boston professional Ivy Ryan, recently seen in New Rep’s Man of La Mancha and Fiddler on the Roof, to unlock the story of a song and apply acting tools to the medium of musical theatre. Participants will leave with greater confidence on their chosen song and skills they can use for any song or performance going forward! Song suggestions can be sent to participants upon request.
