Explore the many aspects of drawing including abstract mark making, drawing what you see, and drawing from imagination. Use different drawing tools such as marker, crayon, pastels, brush and paint in order to create contour, blind contour, and shaded drawings. Participants collage drawings together and make images from painted paper as they draw nature, people and still lives using tools of color, black and white, shapes and lines. A hallmark of the class is learning from professional artists who are working in the same vein. All skill levels are welcome. Materials supplied by the instructor. Materials fee of $25 will be collected on the first day of class. (5 weeks)
