The Fat Lady Sings

Written by Jean Claude can Itallie
Directed by David Schweizer

The Fat Lady Sings, van Itallie’s new play, is a loud, no-holds barred, crucially needed, in-depth exploration of the hidden myths that have brought present-day America to its knees.

Jean-Claude van Itallie was one of the original playwrights brought to La MaMa Experimental Theater Club by founder Ellen Stewart. He is the director of Shantigar Foundation for Creativity, Meditation and Engagement with Nature.
