THIS MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATION follows Meredith Willson's five-year struggle to write a musical about his beloved Iowa hometown, and then to find a producer for it, and finally a star. Along the way, you'll learn lots of surprising and fascinating facts about a show you know and love.

SARAH SAPPERSTEIN is a Skokie Theatre favorite. She recently starred in the Skokie Theatre productions of "A Chorus Line" and "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".

Charles Troy, popular speaker and presenter, is an acclaimed musical theatre historian and graphic designer. He has created over 50 multi-media presentations and had presented his work to countless local and national audiences. His work has also been published in The Sondheim Review.
