Pohela Boishakh is the first day of the Bengali calendar and is typically celebrated on April 14/15. This year Club Bangla has partnered up with Jhal NYC, a non-profit that helps immigrant women in NYC, to cater all the street-style food that everyone loves, enjoys, and can possibly imagine (yes, fuchka included)! We are also partnering up with BSA at NYU and music and dance performances by Columbia Taal, Columbia Dhoom, Columbia Raas, and Columbia Raaga. Additionally, we are collaborating with two local Bengali fashion-boutique owners and cultural fusion designers to showcase our annual FASHION SHOW!
