The team of Between the Seas brings on stage the US premiere of The Internationals by Kosovar playwright Jeton Neziraj: a political cabaret, anarchic collage of images and characters (from Mother Teresa to Marina Abramovic) casting a sarcastic look on the Kosovo war.

“This is not the first play in which Jeton Neziraj, the most prolific playwright in Kosovo for more than a decade now, utilises pop culture to create his characters. It seems that his expression is becoming more brave, provocative and Brechtian on many levels; his language more piercing, raw, yet poetic…” (Fjolla Hoxha, The Theatre Times).

Written by Jeton Neziraj
Translated by Alexandra Channer
Directed by Aktina Stathaki
Cast: Ino Badanjak, Nicole Cardoni, Calaine Schafer & Alexandra Skendrou
Sound Design: Jerome Simeon
Video Design: Helen Zervou
