Scott Speck Conductor
David Perry Violin

Ludwig van Beethoven Symphony No. 3 in E Flat Major
Ludwig van Beethoven Violin Concerto in D Major

A Chicago Philharmonic family reunion, coinciding with the upcoming 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven, leads to a special anniversary concert not to be missed. Violin virtuoso and a Philharmonic favorite son David Perry returns to perform Beethoven’s exquisite violin concerto. And celebrate with us on this special occasion Beethoven’s Heroic Symphony, revolutionary for its time as the first composition in what became the Romantic movement.

There has had a program change. Due to illness, Larry Rachleff will be unable to conduct. Scott Speck, Artistic Director and principal conductor, will be leading the orchestra. We wish Maestro Rachleff a speedy return to good health.

Artists, programs, and prices are subject to change.
