"Ever wanted to create a complete handmade ceramic dinnerware set comprised of pieces that were identical in form? Want to produce a series of ceramic sculptures or relief tiles without having to make each one from scratch? Ever wanted to replicate an object in clay? This class teaches the techniques of creating one-part, two-part, and multiple-part plaster molds and using casting slip to replicate found objects or your own pottery and sculpture! Create a series of identical pieces, each comprised of ceramic shells that are professionally thin and even. Feel emboldened to experiment endlessly with different alterations and surface treatments without fear of ruining a piece you spent hours and hours creating. Open to all levels of clay artists! Price includes plaster and clay to get started, plus all glazing and firing. Additional materials will be available for purchase. Additional studio time is available for enrolled students. "
