This class is part of our Write From the Heart program. Motivated by topics that are close to their hearts, participants will experience the exciting growth of narrative from concept to execution as they put their ideas on paper and then see them brought to life in images or on stage.

Love comics but want more movement in your story? Try animation from the palm of your hand! This course covers 2D and 3D stop-motion animation using recorder applications for Android and IOS smartphones. Engage with materials ranging from pencil to paint to modeling clay! Begin with a GIF and end with a short film. Along the way, participants tackle shooting, editing, and assembling animations. Participants must supply a smartphone device with available storage for app downloads (if this is a barrier to participation, contact the education coordinator at bethdalal@mosesianarts.org).
