This class is part of our Workshops and Intensives program. Workshops and intensives are short-term, specialized classes led by local and visiting artists that help participants sharpen their skills, simply have some fun, or try something new!

Felting, one of the oldest fiber crafts, creates felt: a dense, sturdy material made by matting, condensing and pressing fibers together. In this workshop, participants learn the basics of needle felting, which involves dry felting wool fibers with a barbed needle specifically developed for this process. Participants are provided with all the tools and materials to complete a festive ornament or decoration!
