Got voices in your head that are just dying to come out? Rick Zieff is coming to Boston to help get them out!

Rick is an Emmy-nominated LA-based voice actor (TV: “Tom and Jerry”, “Clarence”, "We Bare Bears", "Bunnicula"; Video Games: “Final Fantasy”, “World War Z”, “Fallout”, etc.) He is also a busy voice director (directed all 52 episodes of Nickelodeon’s “Get Blake”, the current YouTube Original hit “Sherwood”, and co-directed the video game version of “The Walking Dead”) and VO casting director (animation, commercials, industrials).

In this fun and informative animation/videogame workshop, Rick will offer insight into:

• what producers, casting directors and voice directors are listening for in an audition
• developing character voices and making them competitive
• The importance of text analysis
• what you can do to make your work stand out in order to book the job!

Those of you who have worked in film, TV or theater know about “typecasting”—or, simply put, you are what you look like. The luxury of voice-overs is that we can’t see you! Age, ethnicity, and body type are all hidden behind the cloak of invisibility. You can be cast as whatever you can SOUND like!

Come and work out with one of Hollywood’s top voice-over coaches, and see what kind of magic he can help you bring to the microphone!

*BONUS: students will get an audio file of their work from class!
