We would like to invite you a memorial concert celebrating the life and spirit of jazz great Willie Thomas on September 22 at 6:30pm.

After his long career as a performer and educator, Willie Thomas resided on Orcas Island from 1998 until his passing in February of this year. He remained very active during these last twenty years and continued friendships with musicians in Seattle and on Orcas.

The concert, hosted by the Oliver Groenewald NewNet will be reminiscent of the concert performed with Willie at the Orcas Center stage in 2014 and will as well feature other artist friends.
