Screenwriting with Tracy Sunderland
Join writer Tracy Sunderland in a practical exploration and approach to screenwriting
Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 6:30PM

The Cabin

Boise, ID 83702

Join writer Tracy Sunderland in a practical exploration and approach to screenwriting. Using a point of inspiration — a memory, a character, a landscape, etc. — writers will leap into the process of crafting screenplays. Tracy’s empowering techniques and prompts will have participants quickly translating their ideas into actions on the page: by course end, writers will have completed a short screenplay. No experience necessary: just be ready and eager to write!

Tracy Sunderland is a professional writer, director, actor and teacher working in theatre and film. She’s written and directed award-winning short films and plays for young audiences; her first feature script was shot in Greece this summer. She is the Artistic Director of the physical art company Migration Theory, and an Associate Artist with Boise Contemporary Theater. She also teaches at Boise State University and The Cabin. Tracy received the 2015 Idaho Commission on the Arts Fellowship in Filmmaking Award and the 2015 Boise State Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award.
