This class is part of our Makerspace program. Clay, sewing, jewelry-making, and prop creation are just a few of the exciting areas that participants may explore! Makerspace participants work directly with teaching artists to develop and hone their skills as they design and craft objects with their own hands.

Let imagination be your guide and learn the fundamentals of shape, texture, color, form, and function, while having a great time in the process. Utilize pinch pots, slabs, and coils to construct vessels and sculptures of all sorts! Whether inspired by texture, nature, or this morning’s bowl of cereal, this class gets participants looking at the world in a different way! Participants may repeat this class to continue building skill and scope in clay through continually changing themes and projects. Price includes clay and firing of all creations.

Section A meets: Tuesdays from 4:00 -5:30 pm except February 18.
Section B meets: Thursdays from 4:00-5:30 pm except February 20.
