The African American Dance Company Student Showcase features choreographic works by Indiana University students in the African American Dance Company (AADC), AADC Director Stafford C. Berry Jr., and guest performers.

The AADC shares movement traditions and diverse dance forms of the African diaspora and African American culture. Directed by Stafford C. Berry Jr., the company's repertoire includes original choreography in a fusion of African dance styles, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip-hop, and various cultural forms. Founded in 1974, the AADC is one of three student performing ensembles in the African American Arts Institute and a credit-bearing course offered through IU's Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies.
