8 weekly sessions beginning Tuesday, January 28th, 2020

The intermediate class will be geared toward students who have taken the Beginner/Basic class at least once, or those who have at least one year of experience playing the concertina. We will learn intermediate session tunes, review scales and ornamentation, and continue to develop the basic fingering choices unique to the concertina. We will also be listening to selected recordings of the great artists. Tunes will be taught by ear; standard notation and ABC will also be provided. If you need help learning to read music, we’ll cover that, too. All ages are welcome. Bring your concertina and some kind of audio recorder, and be ready to have some fun!

No concertina? No problem! We have a limited number of concertinas available to rent for a small fee.
