Thursday, Friday & Saturday, January 23–25, the Nantucket Comedy Festival presents our popular Stand Up & Learn Winter Workshop and Professional Comedy Series. Executive Director Kevin Flynn will be on island to conduct the workshops for Stand Up & Learn, a comedy education program for young people ages 8–18. An initiative of the Nantucket Comedy Festival, Stand Up & Learn enables island children to build self-confidence while learning to create and perform original stand-up comedy. Children can choose to perform in a special kids’ show on Saturday at the White Heron Theatre, and even return in the summer for Stand Up & Learn’s Kids’ Night on Friday, July 17.
