Right In the Eye
A Show for all ages

Following the success of its first tour in 2018 and after a run of over 500 performances in Europe and in North America, the live movie-concert Right in the eye, created by the French artist and composer Jean-François Alcoléa, returns to the USA.
This multimedia show offers a contemporary poetic and playful rendition of Georges Méliès’ universes performed by 3 live musicians. With a multitude of instruments and an original orchestration, the musicians together with the image bring a new life to the fantasy and genius of the father of cinema and special effects. A show that reimagines the early years of cinema.
“This show rises to the challenge of reflecting the wondrous singularity that so appropriately describes the films produced by Méliès. It is at once inventive, elegant, and moving... right to the core.” - Chronique - Festival OFF Avignon
