Whether you believe the richness of our state lies in its vast beauty or the lure of fortunes found in mineral deposits, this fieldtrip is meant to inspire your inner artist. Join us while we take an artistic look at Idaho’s mining heritage. We’ll start with a beautiful drive over Galena Summit and into the Stanley basin taking a brief tour of the Stanley museum, then exploring the Yankee Fork Gold Dredge and delve into Idaho’s past with a walk around the ghost town of Custer. We will spend the afternoon drawing sites that inspire us.
