Rachel Bailit is an Actress, Journalist, and Teacher at The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, The Los Angeles Academy of Performing Arts, The Getty Museum and DreamWorks Animation. Rachel was trained and mentored by David Lee Strasberg and teaches both adults and children at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles. While there, Rachel created an original one-person show class, helping individuals to write and create their own unique creative pieces. She also teaches a one-of-a kind class on The Group Theater-using the achievements of America’s famous acting group to springboard today’s students into meaningful inspirational lives.

Rachel specializes in working one on one with public speakers, actors, and various corporations creating opportunities for genuine communication, effective change, and growth. Her work is based on method acting-using sensorial stimulation and personal memory.

Rachel recently co-created a new tour “Sense Memory in Art” at The Getty Center. Rachel interacts with museum visitors from all over the world to explore the way memory and the senses engage simultaneously to create deeper, more provocative, and personal relationships with works of art. Rachel owned and operated her own casting company “Compassionate Casting” for over ten years. She cast television pilots, films, music videos and many commercials.

Rachel’s acting credits include Paramount’s “Festival In Cannes” directed by Henry Jaglom. She played alongside Jim Carrey in Ron Howard’s “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas”.
