Internationally renowned theatre provocateurs Rimini Protokoll invite you to an intercontinental video conference play about outsourcing. 20 spectators join from home and meet an Indian call center worker at her home in Calcutta. During the one-hour performance, the performer shows her home, talks about the economic and personal implications of work in a call center, and engages an international audience to reflect upon the distance between actors in the machine of globalized capitalism. Making ingenious use of the Zoom platform, the play calls into focus the performance of identity across technological boundaries, and possibilities for interconnectedness. Social distancing becomes a change for new and playful encounters with people far away from one's own reality.
