This event is a staged reading.

Classmates Sam and Lizzie have their first playdate on 9/11, co-creating an imaginary, fanciful queendom in order to make sense of the day. Over the next twenty years, the game recurs at startling intervals as the two women navigate their fierce, fraught, electric friendship.

PLEASE NOTE: This performance of Sam & Lizzie will take place at the Hermitage Artist Retreat on Manasota Key beach. Designated, distanced seating areas will be established, but seating will not be provided. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own beach chairs or blankets. Additionally, patrons are free to bring their own food or beverage.
