Four-Week Session: Saturday, March 20 - April 10, 2021 (11:45am - 1:45pm)

**Students must submit an audition tape in order to be considered for the class. Acceptance is based off of rolling admissions. Script and filming instructions are below. If you have already taken this class in the past, there is no need to re-audition.

This is an advanced class for students with extensive background and/or previous experience in acting designed to build upon and strengthen skills and tools necessary for auditioning and booking the job. Spots and registration are granted by audition ONLY as this is an ADVANCED acting class with the focus on individual growth through the process of performance and critique among their peers. There is more individualized attention given to each student in the class, with material specifically selected for each student’s “type”. The goal of this class is to discover and encourage each actor’s “professional self” establishing the confidence and know-how to handle the audition and, of course, the job with finesse.

SCRIPT AND FILMING INSTRUCTIONS:

The script for the teen class can be found at the link below (please copy/paste): http://files.constantcontact.com/aa6009a5001/7df8f225-daf9-4260-acb2-eb388eba2710.pdf

This script is from the film THE FAULT IN OUR STARS (role of Hazel - gender neutral script). Please film from the chest up and against a plain backdrop (like a solid color wall). Even though the script is technically a voice over, we want it performed as a monologue. Please email the video to Brittany at mpi@bostoncasting.com for consideration. Deadline is 3/18 by 12pm.
