METHOD ACTING is here to stay in Boston!

The Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute Faculty Member and Instructor Rachel Bailit. Join us for an acting intensive on Lee Strasberg's legendary acting technique. Students will learn how Method Acting works and will learn relaxation and sensory exercises and apply them to scenes and monologues. In Method Acting, actors learn to express powerful emotions and are encouraged to leave behind conventional, superficial, and clichéd expressions in search of their own unique artistic voices. The Method trains actors to use their physical, mental, and emotional humanity in the creation of characters, and stresses the way in which personal experience can fire the actor's imagination.

Testimonials:

"Method technique is incredibly helpful, but I would argue that Method specifically taught by Rachel at Boston Casting is particularly helpful. Why? Because Rachel makes it accessible for all levels, and she compassionately supports actors as the vulnerable humans they are - while they learn acting exercises that involve taking risks and going deep."
