In this six-week intensive, students will learn a variety of acting techniques and will find the right method that works for them! Be it Sanford Meisner, Uta Hagen or Stanislavski – learn how to use these methods (or a combination) and apply them towards your scene work, self- tape auditions and monologue work.

SCENE WORK – Each student will work on a scene from tv/film and will be paired with a reader as they learn how to apply new techniques to their scene. Students will self-tape their work each week and Heather will give feedback and direction. Using an array of acting methods and approaches, your scene will be fully prepared for the showcase.

MONOLOGUE WORK – each student will also work on a monologue to showcase; the piece will be a contrast to your scene work to highlight your acting range.

SHOWCASE – on the final class on week six, we will meet virtually and play pre-recorded scenes and do a live monologue performance for industry professionals.

The showcase will be streamed online for casting directors, agents and industry professionals.
