Every class includes a series of Improv games, starting with warm up and technique building, followed by scenes and group performance games. This class also includes a section on Stand-up Comedy where we turn personal stories of experience and observation into original comedy routines. In addition to a ton of fun and a must for any performer, comedy classes teach creative writing, critical thinking public speaking, team dynamic, self confidence, self-awareness, etc. IMPROV = SEL.

Artistic Director

Walt Frasier With over 30 years of experience in theater, comedy, and television, Walt Frasier is the Artistic Director of Improv Theater LLC, a leading edutainment center known for its high-impact comedy shows and workshops. His extensive career includes performing comedy sketches on MTV’s Stankervision, Late Nite with David Letterman, TruTV’s Friends of the People, and HBO’s Pause with Sam Jay. As an actor, Walt has appeared on NBC’s Blacklist, CBS’s Blue Bloods, USA’s Royal Pains, Netflix’s Lilyhammer, and NICK’s Naked Brothers Band, in addition to numerous commercials, industrials, and live performances worldwide.

Join us Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 12pm for our fall open house. Stay for the 3pm show. This class will run Saturdays 12pm September 18 thru October 30. Showcase will be Sunday 10/31 at 3pm (each student gets four free tickets, there is a one drink minimum per guest). 12:05-1:30pm will be improv comedy. 1:30-2 Open Mic (stand up comedy)
