I Have A Dream, by Teressa Tedder, premieres at these concerts. This five-movemnet work for choir, soloist and orchestral ensemble, is based on the words and life of Martin Luther King, Jr. With Malice Toward None, a mulit-movement choral, solo and orchestral ensemble masterwork, also composed by Ms. Tedder, includes text from President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, the Second Inaugural Address and original text that sings the story of Abraham Lincoln's life. Abraham Lincoln and Dr. King affected great change in America. These musical works focus on thier lives and words for the struggle for freedom and equality. Their words still hold the power to unite us today.
