Chamber Opera Chicago’s musical adaptation of Jane Austen’s Persuasion combines music, theatre, and dance, and has thrilled both Austen fans and general audiences alike.
Featuring songs from Jane Austen’s manuscripts and music of the era, an 11-piece chamber orchestra with Celtic and period instruments, beautiful Regency costumes, projected scenery, and world-champion Irish dancers, this adaptation has received rave reviews commenting on its authenticity.
