Featuring piano music of Haydn, Mozart, Chopin, Ferruccio Busoni, Federico Longás, Yukiko Nishimura, Péter Wolf, and Sara Davis Buechner herself, Of Pigs and Pianos is the new one-woman show exploring Sara Davis Buechner’s extraordinary life story in music and words. As one of America’s most well-known classical pianists, as well as one of the first transgender women to transition in mid-career (in the 1990s), Buechner now shares her own tale of courage and integrity in the face of overwhelming personal and professional obstacles, to LGBTQIA+ groups around the world. ***Discounted tickets are available to students and seniors with valid ID.
