Students in grades 4-8 will explore other musical theatre interpretations of the Wizard of Oz stories such as The Wiz and Wicked. Themes of self, friendship, and community emerge while students experience two different musical theatre styles. This program will provide an opportunity for students to learn how the concept, context, style, and perspective of an adaptation shift the storytelling experience.

All classes will attend a matinee performance of our production of The Wizard of Oz during the week.
