Plato's Closet presents
2022 Trashion Refashion
A fundraiser for the Center for Sustainable Living
Sunday, April 10, 2022 at 7:00PM
114 E. Kirkwood Ave.
It’s time for Trashion Refashion 2022 presented by Plato’s Closet!
This vibrant, all‐ages event is a two‐part runway show featuring designs made from refashioned garments or unwanted materials including (but not limited to!) paper and plastic bags, pop tabs, bicycle tires, tablecloths, old clothes and even pet food containers! This year’s event features a performance by Bloomington’s own singer/storyteller Tom Roznowski. Yael Ksander and Devta Kidd will co-emcee. Bloomington Trashion is proud to involve our community of creative designers, performers, businesses, students and professors year after year.
Proceeds go to benefit the Center for Sustainable Living (CSL) and Discardia, a CSL project whose mission is to help people reuse, recycle and repurpose clothing & other textiles.
Doors open at 6pm for general admission event. The estimated length of the show is 2 and a half hours. Wearing a mask indoors is strongly encouraged. Vaccine verification or negative covid test results within 48 hours required to enter the venue. COVID Policy FAQ.
