Stupid Boring Straight People is a play about what you think your friends think you think of them. It is about the bureaucracy of friendship and romance, the found family that we build for ourselves, and the terror of what comes next when that family starts to break apart. Told from multiple viewpoints throughout one disastrous Halloween party, the play follows four distinct couples in varying degrees of love and anguish. They scheme, overlap, and intertwine as they take turns fighting for love and throwing each other under the bus.
