This summer MacGuffin is offering 8, 1-week theatre camps for youth ages 7-10/11. Each week will feature a different musical. The camps will be held Monday – Friday from 9:30am – 3:30pm. On the Friday of each week there will be a performance at 7pm. Sign up for one or ALL of them! These camps will get you in sync with your fellow actors and having a great time. Learn to project your voice, take your dance moves to the next level, and interpret these fantastic songs and texts as only you can.
Here’s how it will work:
1. Sign up for camp!
2. In May we’ll announce the audition songs or monologues for the musical or play.
3. Practice and memorize your audition song or monologue.
4. On Day 1 everyone in the camp will audition for your directors, Jen Jaynes, Joey Schulman and/or Tina Lynch.
5. The cast is announced. Rehearsals begin. The schedule is below.
6. Perform your show on the Friday night of your week-long camp at 7pm (except for Fridays July 26, August 2 and August 9 performances which will be at 5pm)

Week 4 will feature the musical, Frozen July 15-19
The enchanting modern classic Frozen JR. is based on the 2018 Broadway musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all of the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway production.
A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!
